The Health Professions Pathway prepares students to care for the needs of the community. In collaboration with Marimn Health and Washington State University Health Sciences of Spokane, students will gain knowledge, skills, and experiences through classroom education, work-based learning, and hands-on training opportunities while earning their high school diploma.
Students will learn medical terminology and complete classes that prepare them for a variety of careers in the health professions including nursing and mental health assistants. They will complete course work that helps them work toward applicable certifications in their desired health professions.
Course work will include, but is not limited to: |
|
- Health
- Fundamentals of Health Professions
- Medical Terminology
- Mental Health Assistant
- Anatomy and Physiology for Health Professions
|

|
Built with community and industry needs in mind, students will graduate with the skills they need to immediately begin working in their selected field or pursuing their academic next steps after graduation.
