Welcome to the Employment Opportunities area of the Plummer-Worley School District website. Below are the positions currently open in the district.

Administrative Applicants:  If you are submitting an application for the vacancy for Secondary Principal at Lakeside High School, please click on the links on the right side of this page to review the job description and the vacancy announcement.  All application requirements are listed in the vacancy announcement.  Questions can be directed to Karyn Stockdale at stockdale.karyn@lakesidesch.org.  Completed application packets may be submitted by email, fax, hard mail, or delivered.  If delivering, please call to check availability of HR personnel.   All administrative applicants are also required to submit the Release of Information form located on this page, and pass the pre-employment drug screening prior to hire.

Certificated Applicants:  If you are interested in submitting an application packet, please do so at your earliest opportunity. A completed certificated (teaching) packet consists of a certificated application, cover letter, resume, placement file, copies of your transcripts, verification of HQT status, Release of Information, and a copy of your current education credential.

Classified Applicants:  A completed classified packet consists of a completed classified application, cover letter, resume, Release of Information, and for a paraprofessional position, proof of HQT status.

Coaching Applicants:  A completed coaching packet consists of a completed extra-curricular application, a cover letter, resume, and a copy of any relevant certificates, CPR cards, etc.

Salary Range: $31,750 to $51,344 for certificated staff; $7.50 per hour to $26.27 (depending on position) per hour for classified staff; competitive benefits package included for all employees working 20+ hours per week). Experienced certificated staff are allowed credit for all K-12 experience on the salary schedule.

SUBSTITUTES NEEDED

Substitutes are needed in all areas of the district, to include classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, food service staff, custodians, and office staff.  If you are interested in working as a substitute, please contact Kathy Sperber at (208)  686-1621.

Non-Certificated Substitutes
If you love working with kids and enjoy a flexible schedule, contact Kathy Sperber to get on the sub list! Non-certificated substitutes are paid competitively and given their choice of assignments. Give Kathy a call at (208) 686-2112 today.
 
Certificated Substitutes
If you have a current education credential in Idaho or another state, you can earn $90 per day (more than any other district in North Idaho) as a substitute teacher in our district. Our substitutes enjoy small class sizes, proactive administrative support, and professional co-workers. For more information, please contact Kathy Sperber at (208)686-2112.  After 10 days in the same continuous position, certificated substitutes are paid the appropriate wage on the certificated salary schedule.
 
School Bus Drivers
Substitute bus drivers are needed on a regular basis for routes and activity trips. Class A CDL with proper endorsements are required. Training is available.

Bus drivers are paid on a competitive scale depending on experience. Substitute drivers are also eligible for activity trips.
