CALL FOR BIDS

Plummer-Worley Joint School District No. 44 will receive sealed bids at the Administrative Office at 1255 E. Street, Plummer, Idaho, or at P. O. Box 130, Plummer, ID 83851, for sale of the following surplus property:

  • 1999 Thomas/International, Model 3800 65 Passenger School Bus, Engine DT400E
  • 1989 Bluebird w/GMC Chassis, Model Microbird School Bus, 6.5 Engine, Ricon Hydraulic Lift

Each vehicle will be sold separately, as is, in separate bids. Vehicles must be claimed and paid for before December 14, 2018, and buyer assumes all further liability and responsibility upon claiming vehicle.  Appointments to view the vehicle may be made by calling (208) 582-0057. 

No conditional bids shall be accepted.  The bids shall be sealed in an envelope (faxes are not acceptable), on the outside shall be written the words "Bus Bid".  Bids shall be received until 12:00 p.m. Noon on December 5, and shall be opened at 12:15 p.m. on the 5th day of December, 2018, at the District Office in Plummer. The Board of Trustees of Plummer-Worley Joint School District No. 44 reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

"Schools of Excellence" Week 4 Sportsmanship Award Winners

As part of Lakeside Athletic's strive to become an IHSAA "School of Excellence", each sports team at in season will select one athlete a week to highlight as their "Sportsman of the Week". These athletes will be named by their coaches for showing sportsmanship in all aspects, on and off the court. Even though the IHSAA program is only for high schools, Lakeside is encouraging middle school coaches to name athletes as well. This week's athletes are:

 

High School Football - Vincent Howard

Ninny showed great sportsmanship during practice and the last game by supporting his teammates and 

 

High School Volleyball - Destiny Seago

Destiny continually encourages others and placed the team as her first priority.

 

Middle School Football - Mason Bowmer

Mason worked hard in practice and tried to keep his team confident and upbeat during the final game.

 

Middle School Volleyball - Maryanne Cosby

Maryanne really stepped up her sportsmanship and always has a positive attitude in practice and in games.

 

Congrats to all of this week's Sportsmanship Award winners and we encourage everyone to continue to show sportsmaship on and off the field of play! This is the final weekly sportsmanship award winners until the start of Basketball! Go Knights!

"Schools of Excellence" Week 3 Sportsmanship Award Winners

High School Football - JJ Hall

JJ showed great sportsmanship during practice, encourgaing his teammates and doing his part during on and off the field against Clark Fork.

 

High School Volleyball -Tenley Lambert

Tenley encourages her teammates when things go well as well as when things may not be going right. She is a leader and strives to improve those around her by improving herself.

 

Middle School Football - Tsones Nomee

Tsones is a team player who alsways shows up to practice and tries to get his teammates to practice hard.

 

Middle School Volleyball - Jayde Merrill

Jayde really stepped up her game and sportsmanship, always has a positive attitude in practice, and works to keep her team upbeat during games.

High School Fall Sports are Right Around the Corner!

With August upon us, it is time to start getting ready for fall sports! Fall sports at Lakeside High School will be starting August 6th with Football and August 10th with Volleyball.

Earlier this year, Mrs. Laura Wommack was accepted into the NITARP program (NASA-IPAC Teacher Archive Research Program) which allows teachers and their students an opportunity to participate in authentic astronomy research.

Lakeside math/science teacher Laura Wommack has been named a 2019 NEA (National Education Association) Foundation Global Learning Fellow.  Click here for the weblink

All Students Eat for Free Lunch trays

Lakeside has again been named a Community Eligibility Program by the USDA.  This means that all students can eat breakfast and lunch for free.  There is no need at this time for parents to complete the Free & Reduced application previously required.
